Purchase Workshop on Line: Receipt will be mailed to you (Shipping Included) or call 617 876-0687  8 One Hour Sessions $200   use drop down menu to choose the appropriate group Group: Next Workshop to be announced      8 Two Hour Sessions $400   use drop down menu to choose the appropriate group Group: Next Workshop to be announced        Beginner Jam I - Ages  9 - 15        8 weekly One Hour Sessions   Mondays 6:00-7:00    Cost: $200.00  Beginner's group: Participants should be able to play open chords proficiently, and have limited experience playing music with others.  Beginner courses are designed to take the student from a solo player to one that can jam with others.  Intermediate Jam - Ages  16 - Adult 8 weekly Two  Hour Sessions      7:30-9:30 Cost: $400.00  Intermediate group: Participants should be able to play open & bar chords proficiently, have familiarity with some blues scales and music theory and have some experience playing music with others.  Intermediate courses will improve students ability to solo, carry  rhythm,  and develop as an ensemble  player.  Jam II - Ages  9 - 15   8 Weekly One Hour Sessions  6:00-7:00 Cost: $200.00  Intermediate group: Participants should be able to play open  & Bar chords proficiently, and have some experience playing music with others.  Intermediate courses will improve students ability to solo, carry  rhythm,  and develop as an ensemble  player.  Beginner Jam - Ages  16 - Adult 8 Weekly One  Hour Sessions   7:30-8:30 Cost: $200.00  Beginner's Adult group: Participants should be able to play open  & Bar chords proficiently, and have limited experience playing music with others.  Beginner courses are designed to take the student from a solo player to one that can jam with others. General Information: Workshops will develop skills in playing music with others.  Beginner courses are designed to take the student from a solo player to one that can jam with others.  Intermediate and Advanced courses will improve students ability to solo and develop as an ensemble  player.  Courses will use the structure of 12 Bar Blues, Jazz and Rock to help participants work on Ensemble playing, Rhythm patterns, Soloing Techniques and  Improvisation. Course will be held at Paul's Music Studio: located at 1798a Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, Ma 02140, just a couple of blocks from the Porter Sq. T station. Each workshop will have a minimum of  3 participants and a maximum of 6.  Participants should be prepared to bring their own guitar to each session.  At each session they will be asked to practice material to be prepared for the next session.

JR. JAZZ IMPROVISATION 8 One Hour Sessions Saturdays 3:30-4:30		Group instruction in jazz improvisation geared to middle-and high-school-aged players of any and all instruments. Basic reading skills needed, group experience helpful. Repertoire will be taken from available play-along book-CD sets, so students can practice at home.
JAZZ IMPROVISATION 8 1 1/2 Hour sessions Sundays 1:15-2:45		Group instruction in jazz improvisation geared to older players of any and all instruments. Basic reading skills needed, group experience helpful. Course can accommodate beginners, as well as those with some improvisation experience. Repertoire will be taken from available play-along book-CD sets, so students can practice at home.
